Workshops on
Rural Development Policy
In collaboration
with Professor Berkeley Hill, professor emeritus at London
University, a workshop on rural development policies in the
EU and US was held in 2007. A second workshop focusing on
the evaluation of rural development policies was held at
the OECD headquarters in Paris in June 2009. For more

Workshop on
the Household-Firm Unit
In collaboration
with Professor Berkeley Hill, I
organized a workshop on the analysis of economic issues at the
level of the farm household-firm: Workshop on the
Household-Firm Unit: Its Importance in Agriculture and
Implications for Statistics.

Penn
State/ERS Agricultural Trade Model
Professor David Abler of Penn
State and I have worked with the Economic Research Service
of the U.S. Department of Agriculture to develop a multi-country, multi-commodity model that is
used to analyze international trade policy issues in
